Operax, the leading vendor of Network Service Quality control solutions, today announces the appointment of Laurent Laisney as VP Channels & OEM. Laurent will focus on growing commercial opportunities for Operax products and technology via major Systems Integrators, Value-Added Resellers and Network Equipment Providers.
Laurent Laisney has more than 15 years experience in the telecommunication industry and IT space. He has held several positions at software companies, focusing on the service provider and enterprise markets. Before joining Operax, Laurent was with Micromuse as Worldwide Channels Director, where he and his team developed key partnerships with Network Equipment Providers. He held the same position at IBM Tivoli for 18 months after the Micromuse acquisition by IBM. Prior to Micromuse, Laurent spent 5 years at Quallaby, a software company delivering solutions for Performance Management and Quality of Service (QoS) for Service Providers. Laurent is an Engineer in Computer Science from Ecole Polytechnique Universitaire de Montpellier.
